Sermon
Sermon by Pastor P. Burley. Preached Winnaleah July 18th 1999: 'Man Shall not live by Bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the Mouth of God' (Mat 4:4). Length 33 mins 15 secs.
Winnaleah Minister Pastor Burley introduces this lovely passage by setting it firmly in its scriptural context. He addresses the theological implications of such an event upon the two natures of Christ, and shows the connection between The tempter's attack against Him and against ourselves. Pastor Burley supplies new insight into the sin latent in the first temptation.
