Guidelines:

THINGS TO REMEMBER SO THAT OUR CAMP WILL RUN SMOOTHLY AND HAPPILY & IN A CHRISTIAN MANNER
  1. The rule that the Lord has given us for His glory and our good, is that "all things" should "be done decently and in order." (1 Cor. 14.40)

  2. Camp is where we seek to cultivate Christian thoughtfulness, trust and honour. Be thoughtful of others. Be worthy of the trust and respect of others, including the camp parents, speaker, cooks and team leaders. Be honourable in behaving towards all in a courteous, patient, loving and helpful manner. Speak and act kindly towards others. This is Christianity in ACTION!!

  3. Do not leave the immediate camp grounds without first seeking permission from either the camp father or mother. It is important for the camp parents to always know where all members of the camp are. They are responsible for your safety and well being. There will be free times when you may be able to go for a walk, a swim or a canoe ride, etc. However, first see the camp parents.

  4. It is important that we respect the privacy of others. Boys, then, do not go near the girl’s dormitory, nor the girls go near the boys&rqsuo; dormitory.

  5. When lights go out in the dormitories, be thoughtful of others. There will be those who will be wanting to go to sleep. This means ALL must speak and act quietly, especially those who wish to stay up for awhile longer.

  6. Lights out at 10:00p.m. means that all campers who wish to stay up beyond that hour, must remain in the hall. There will be quiet activities available in the hall for those who wish to stay up.

  7. You know that if people get over tired they are no fun. Be sure to get to bed and sleep at the all lights out call. Beware you do not turn into a GROUCH!

  8. For the fellowship and unity of the camp, all should be sure they are up in time to have freshened up in body and spirit, and be at the breakfast table at starting time.

  9. Remember that playing jokes on others can be good fun… but it is only Christian good fun if you know that the one you play the joke on will see the funny side of it as well. Both must be able to laugh! The scriptural rule is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." (Matthew 7:12)

  10. The ties of friendships we build and make here are, in the Lord Jesus Christ, for ever. To work at being a real friend to one another is one of the most worthwhile things you can do in your life, and at this camp.
